I work with adults who want to understand themselves better and are open to honest, sometimes challenging exploration.
My approach is direct, thoughtful, and focused on deeper work. I ask questions to help you notice the patterns you’ve lived with. These patterns may have once protected you, but now might keep you from feeling connected, confident, or truly alive.
People often seek therapy for anxiety, depression, or a lingering feeling that something isn’t right. While these symptoms matter, they usually aren’t the whole story. They often point to deeper struggles, such as uncertainty about identity, difficulty trusting your perceptions, or living according to others’ expectations rather than your own truth.
Many of my clients deal with self-doubt, perfectionism, or constant worry about how others see them. They may seem to have it all together on the outside, but feel disconnected inside. In therapy, you can learn how to stop trying to perform and start living.
I often work with Russian-speaking immigrants from the former Soviet Union and other countries. Adjusting to a new culture can bring up many emotions, such as loss, confusion about identity, and the pressure to adapt quickly. I have firsthand experience with these issues and offer therapy in both English and Russian.
If you want to go beyond easing symptoms and seek real self-understanding, I would be glad to support you.
